The Chocolate Education Foundation

The Chocolate Education Foundation - I am currently involved in working, primarily with the Central and South American cocoa producing countries, with the aim of founding 'The Chocolate Education Foundation'.

The Foundation's main focus will be to provide education to help promote the cocoa producing countries and cultures principally through chocolate, the spices and other flavours connected with chocolate that come from there as well as incorporating the importance of ecotourism, their wildlife and fauna. The Foundation's resources and knowledge base would emanate from these countries through to school children in the UK providing information in the form of packs (DVDs etc) as well as speakers arranging school talks and tastings.

Children would taste pure unadulterated fine chocolate and begin to understand the importance of eating small amounts of good quality produce and how one's body can digest and assimilate the food more readily than mass produced goods made out of a polypharmacy of additives, preservatives, and high sugar contents. This could then lead to less weight gain and help prevent obesity and the physical and emotional side effects associated with it.
