Rose Petals
My love of flowers, especially roses, exceptional chocolate and gold and silver leaf led me to experiment and creation of my exclusive 'Grand Cru' Chocolate Dipped Rose Petals decorated with a speck of either gold or silver leaf. They are absolutely delicious and I feel a little picture and story in themselves, each one uniquely finished with a speck of edible gold or silver leaf.
The roses I use come in a kaleidoscope of colours and are grown on volcanic soil in the Andes 3000 metres above sea level. The farms my established supplier do not use toxic chemicals and the roses are highly edible. Ideal for a sweet canapé at a party, wedding feast, golden wedding anniversaries, silver wedding anniversaries, as a present or purely as a treat for yourself. Always seeking out something new I came across edible pansies in my local farmers market. Working with them the same way as the rose petals I succeeded in transforming them into a delicious sweet treat. They may vary in size due to the season and availability.
