This chocolate bar is made from the rare native Ecuadorian Arriba cocoa beans. It is creamy and velvety with a hint of caramel and vanilla.
The joy being with higher cocoa solids than most milk chocolate bars it has less sugar and more cocoa. It leaves a clean palate and doesn’t lead to a mass sugar craving.
I have to admit that it converted me to milk chocolate!
It is delicious with a chilled glass of sherry (try a dry Fino or salty Manzanilla or for a sweet fix a Cream one) or buttery white wine (Viognier, Pinot Gris or Chardonnay) or glass of sparkle.
